Richelle's yoga and bodysculpt classes are Life Changing. From beginning to end her classes are awesome! Her yoga style is like no other that I have ever seen. Her classes are always challenging, always exciting, always soothing and they make you reach a new level every time. I can't believe the way my body feels every time I leave her classes. I recommend her class to anyone, especially those who want a challenge and a change. She is top-notch in the field. Richelle is a very inspirational instructor and there is No other like her.

Richelle I want to let you know how much of an incredible person you are in my opinion. Not only have you managed to help me prepare for one of life's biggest experiences physically and mentally, but you have so much going on in your life and you always seem to manage the different aspects of your life so well - keeping the balance and maintaining perspective and all that good stuff :) You've made a huge difference in my life alone not to mention the countless others i know you have helped, inspired, taught, and befriended.

The main reason I'm writing this message is because as I went into labour tonight, I was in a bit of a panicked state. My contractions are super intense and to prepare for managing them I had the chakra chants music, a heating pad, and various other methods to try. One thing that I hadn't been able to do until tonight is to come up with a 'safe place' in which to imagine myself during a contraction. I was deep in the middle of breathing thru a rough one when all of a sudden I saw my safe place - it is sitting across from you, in your studio, just sort of meditating!! once I pictured myself there, I felt much better and have been able to manage contractions now through music, visualization and breathing.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a source of positivity and inspiration to me and providing me with my "safe place".

I can honestly say that my first yoga class with Richelle at the retreat was the best I’d ever experienced.  The way Richelle broke down and explained the postures was amazing!  I thought I knew what I was doing before, but…wow…did I ever learn a LOT!  To stand there in Warrior 2 and be dripping with sweat - that is something!  Richelle has a way to help you engage your muscles and breathe properly into each move.  She knows how to break down the moves so that you get the best benefit from your practice.  She is always reminding you as well, to focus on your own mat – don’t worry about what others are doing – yoga is about you and you alone.  Each class and each day I felt myself improving.  I was looking forward to the next class to see if I could do better than I did the day before.  Richelle also has unique touches that personalize things and make each class interesting.  She even chooses her music to fit the particular type of class she is teaching – to either inspire and uplift, or to relax and let go – or to have a bit of both.  it’s all done so beautifully.  She really makes you feel like you are an important individual, and not just one of many in her class. 

The retreat and my experience with Richelle and all the other women was one of the best things I have ever experienced in my life, and I mean that literally.  I am hoping to go again, on the next retreat with Richelle in 2012 and I look forward to continuing and improving in my yoga practice. Thanks Richelle!  You helped me so much.

I began taking Richelle’s Yoga classes in March 2009.  After doing months of traditional cardio and resistance training, I was looking for something to compliment my current exercise schedule.  After just a few classes, I was able to see a noticeable improvement in my breathing, flexibility, strength and posture.  Yoga has allowed me to become more focused, relaxed and confident in my strengths.  I am stronger, more flexible, toned and in overall better shape since incorporating Yoga into my life.  In yoga, I have found something that challenges my body and mind simultaneously.  Each of Richelle’s classes is small enough to provide all of us with the individual attention required to gain the most from our practice.  Her instruction also involves personal, hands-on interaction that helps to tailor the practice to your own level. She respects your body’s strengths and its limits and works with you so that you get the most out of every practice.  Richelle has a unique ability to push you beyond your limits and never fails to encourage and help you achieve the best in yourself.  If you are looking for an excellent workout, Richelle will lead you through a class which is always challenging, yet leaves you feeling relaxed and re-energized.  Richelle’s Yoga classes have become something that I look forward to on a weekly basis and I leave each class feeling energized and stress free.

I took my first Yoga class five months ago and must admit I had no idea what was in store for me.  I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to relax and get in some good stretches.  It probably did start out that way, but has definitely progressed beyond that.   I see how much stronger I am, how I think about my breathing more and the incredible benefits of that.  I’ve also become so much more aware of my posture, both in and out of class.  Richelle has created a safe and comfortable environment and encourages us to always go that little bit further than we think we can.
